The Harriet Tubman Virtual Museum
With the International Decade for People of African Descent (2015–2024) soon coming to a close, the HTI is proud to announce the creation of a virtual museum to honour the legacy of Harriet Tubman.
It is dedicated to her in remembrance of her struggle to free her people from enslavement.
With the generous support of the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies at York University, we have begun the first phase of the Museum, which will be launched in February 2023 during Black History Month.
I had reasoned this out in my mind, there was one of two things I had a right to, liberty or death; if I could not have one, I would have the other.
